Prokhorov Tours Barclays Tuesday

Tim Bontemps and Stefan Bondy report that Mikhail Prokhorov will tour the Barclays Center construction site Tuesday with Bruce Ratner, his partner in the arena and the Nets. Prokhorov has not seen the construction site since last October. He was on hand in May 2010 as workmen began demolishing Daniel Goldstein's condominium.

Prokhorov attended Sunday night's game vs. the Cavaliers, arriving an hour and 10 minutes after touching down at Teterboro Airport 13 miles north of Prudential Center. He's also expected to meet with players and attend the NBA Board of Governors' meeting Thursday when the Nets move to Brooklyn --and name change to Brooklyn Nets-- will be formally approved. While at the game, a Nets fan showed him a custom jersey.
