The Nets have long believed that about one-third of the team's fans will follow them to Brooklyn, take in some games, watch more. Brett Yormark has said that he has been surprised by the number of New Jersey fans who've signed up for season tickets at Barclays Center.

The Wall Street Journal talks to some long-time Nets fans, some of whom abandoned them back when Bruce Ratner took over. Although his survey is not scientific, Scott Cacciola senses some resistance to making the trek, physicially and psychically, across two rivers. Of course, the team's success will be a big determinant, everyone admits.
