The Nets announced Thursday that Jordan Farmar, troubled by a sore right groin for much of the season, will be shut down for the Nets' last 10 games. Farmar becomes the fifth Net to suffer a season-ending injury, following Damion James, Keith Bogans, Shawne Williams and Mehmet Okur. An update on Brook Lopez is expected in the next few days.
The team also announced that Shelden Williams (eye) will be available this weekend when the Nets play the Wizards and Cavaliers.
