Brook Lopez popped into Marvel Comics recently for the creative tour and some time with podcast hosts, Ryan "Agent M" Penagos and Ben Morse. Lopez talked about his favorite characters, favorite movies and dissed his brother Robin's affection for Cyclops.

When asked to come up with Marvel superheroes he'd like to play with, Lopez named Cat (Shen Kuei), Black Panther, Spiderman, Quicksilver and Iron Man (Tony Stark). As for which superhero's persona he'd choose for himself, Lopez said that was easy: Beast, who "possesses ape-like superhuman physical strength and agility and oversized hands and feet, though he otherwise appears to be a normal human being." Works for us.
