Yormark: Brooklyn Nets Merchandise Goes On Sale Monday

Brett Yormark told WFAN's Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton Monday that the Nets will begin marketing Brooklyn Nets merchandise next Monday, the same day the team officially changes its name and unveils its new "corporate identity", that is, its colors and logo. Yormark gave no hint on either.

Yormark called the move to Brooklyn "bittersweet," and despite NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman's reservations about Brooklyn said chances of the Islanders also making the move to Brooklyn are "very realistic." The Islanders have a lease at Nassau Coliseum through 2015. Yormark also gave a big shout out to his twin brother, Michael, who is president of the Florida Panthers. The Panthers lead the Devils in the opening round of the NHL playoffs, 3-2.
