Deron Williams doesn't know if he will play again this season, suffering from a contusion on his right calf. It's the same leg that he hurt earlier in the season, but he says this injury, suffered last Saturday when Greg Stiemsma ran over him, is different.
"We’re just taking it day-to-day," Williams told Andy Vasquez. "I just want to make sure it’s OK, and no reason to come back and do something stupid with three games left. We can’t make the playoffs."
So it's possible that he's played his last game as a Net, having played just 67 games since arriving from Utah last February. After Saturday's game in Milwaukee, the Nets play Monday against the Sixers and finish the season in Toronto on Thursday.
