One unqualified success for the Nets this season has been their hybrid affiliation with the Armor. The Armor provided the Nets with three players on short notice for their training camp, two of whom were later called up to fill roster spots; helped Jordan Williams develop and gain confidence and recommended Gerald Green for a tryout with the parent club. Not to mention the D-League playoffs.

Now, the Nets are planning for the future. Billy King told NetsDaily in February that he’s "going to be looking at the Armor first" when filling out summer league and training camp rosters. Indeed, Dennis Horner, who had two turns with the Nets, says he's been invited to play for the Nets in the Orlando Summer League, July 9-16.

He also has orders about what he needs to do over the summer ... gain another 10 or 15 pounds of "good weight," continue refining his already potent outside shot and improve his mobility.
