The D-League playoffs are unforgiving. After losing Friday night in Canton, OH, the Armor will battle the Charge again Sunday in the best-of-three opening round series. If they lose, their season is over. The Charge dominated from early on, winning 108-93, with 5'9" T.J. Campbell providing most of the spark, and finishing with 24 points and four assists.
For the Nets' affiliate, L.D. Williams had 24 in another strong performance while JamesOn Curry had 19 and Jeff Foote had 17 rebounds to go with his nine points. Jerry Smith shot a miserable 2-for-9 and finished with six points and Dennis Horner 13 and 5, both disappointing performances.
The Armor may get a break Sunday. Luke Harangody, the Charge PF, has been recalled by the Cavaliers. Harangody is averaging a team high of 19.4 points and 12.6 rebounds a game with the Charge and had 16 and 9 Friday night.
