Gerald Wallace's season may be over. And if it is, it's possible that he's played his last game as a Net, holding a player option for $9.5 million next season.

Wallace remains non-committal about his option, but has good things to say about Mikhail Prokhorov after meeting with him privately on Tuesday.

He understands that injuries are the primary reason the Nets have struggled in their final season in New Jersey, and is already looking ahead to next fall.

"The biggest thing for this team is going to be training camp — keeping guys accustomed to having that real training camp," Wallace said. "Coming back next year, we’re able to get adjusted to being together."
