Sam Amick tries his hand at deciphering the Dwight Howard comments (or lack thereof) over the past several days.
He thinks that the 6'11' center is more likely to stay in Orlando and could even exercise his $19.5 million player option and avoid being the meanie in Orlando.
Billy King, however, is thinking differently, writes Amick. "a source close to New Jersey general manager Billy King said he is operating with the understanding that getting Howard for the long haul via trade is much more likely than via free agency because of his desire for the extra cash. That's the only way to impress fellow free-agent-to-be and Nets point guard Deron Williams as well."
