Why did the Deron Williams walk out of the locker room Monday without talking to beat writers Monday? He told the media Tuesday that he was frustrated with the Nets play vs. the Cavaliers and fearful that he's say something more about the officiating that would cost him money.
"I wanted to keep my money, so I thought it was better to leave than talk with a hot head," Williams told reporters.
He also admitted frustration with the Nets' play both recently and over the season. "We’ve been making the same mistakes all year. We’ve talked about it every day, it seems like it just doesn’t register," Williams said. "At some point, you hope it would, you know?"
