The Nets announced Sunday afternoon that they have signed Gerald Green for the remainder of the season (not to a multi-year deal). Green has averaged 11.7 points on 52 percent shooting in 11 games off the bench with the Nets. He has scored in double-figures each of the last five games, including two games of 26 points in less than 25 minutes.

Green was signed to his first 10-day contract on Feb. 27, after earning MVP honors at the D-League All-Star Game in Orlando. His last NBA game had been in April of 2009 with the Mavs.
