Kidd Wants To Back Up D-Will, But...

Jason Kidd doesn't want to retire. He wants to play till he's 40, which means March 2013. Where he fills out that wish is an issue. He recently told Andy Vasquez that he'd like to back up Deron Williams wherever he winds up, but admitted he prefers that Williams comes to Dallas rather than him going to Brooklyn.

"I’m a big fan of Deron’s, and if he was to come back here, that would be great," Kidd said. "There’s a good chance (of it happening)? I’m all for it." Kidd did admit Brooklyn is a possibility. "Brooklyn has its appeal. Last summer was a little damper because of the lockout, but this summer with the free agents that are out there should be entertaining for everybody to see who ends up where," said Kidd.
