The Nets once again are at the bottom of league TV ratings, garnering only a 0.38 rating or about 28,000 viewers per game. The rating, a percentage of the number of TV sets tuned into YES on game nights, is the lowest in the league. The actual number of viewers is the fifth lowest. The Knicks have five times as many viewers at 149,000.
The numbers are up slightly over last season, which the Nets had a 0.29 rating and 22,000 viewers One bit of solace for Nets fans: the team's win over the Knicks last week provided MSG Network with its highest ratings ever for a regular season game...and of course, those fans had to watch the Nets win.
