Bojan Bogdanovic's team, Fenerbahce, needed to win by five or more points Thursday or their slim hopes of advancing in the Euroleague would be dashed. With 10 minutes left in the game, Fener was down by 13, but Bogdanovic helped lead a comeback that put the game into OT with a teammate's buzzer beater.
Then, in overtime, Bogdanovic continued his solid game the Fener won by seven to preserve their chances. The Nets pick finished with 20 points, hitting on 6-of-11 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line.
Fenerbahce will now have to win it final game at Milan next week and hope that Panathinaikos beats Unics away if they are to reach the Round of Eight.
In an earlier game in Moscow, Mikhail Prokhorov had a front row seat as his old team, CSKA, with old friend, Andrei Kirilenko, beat Olympiacos of Greece.
