In an interview with The Back Sports Page, Jason Kidd talks about his teammates Kenyon Martin and Vince Carter as well as his favorite game as a Nets (no surprise, Game 5 of the Pacers, 2002) but also about his departure, about the Nets going in a different direction.

Things just don’t go well the next couple years when a team is sold. I saw it in Dallas, and then I saw it in New Jersey, and I kind of knew what to expect and it was happening all over again. I saw it coming, and some people will say that I was wrong, but now I have people come up to me and say, "I can’t believe you could see it happening before it happened."
