Nets Talk To Kids in NJ, BKLYN

The Nets will have the rare luxury of three days off this week (before embarking on another five games in six days). Monday, six of the Nets will be doing what has become commonplace nowadays: community events in both New Jersey and Brooklyn.

Anthony Morrow and Jordan Farmar will visit and sign autographs for patients at The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center from 2:30 pm-3:30 pm.

As that event ends, Deron Williams, Kris Humphries, DeShawn Stevenson, and Mehmet Okur will lead a basketball clinic for more than 100 students at Brooklyn High School for Leadership and Community Service n the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. Nets employees will also offer a career counseling forum for the students.
