Say what you want about MarShon Brooks. He's keeping his wits about him

Anthony Gruppuso-US PRESSWIRE

MarShon Brooks is having a tough time of it. A minor injury in training camp put him behind others fighting for a rotation spot, his defense was mocked, and ultimately his spot in the lineup was taken by a guy who's 15 years older than him and his mentor! And who can blame Avery Johnson, the way Jerry Stackhouse is playing.

Then, there was the purse. Although the NBA officially considers Brooks a second-year player, his teammates disagree and say since his rookie year lasted only 66 games, he was still a rookie for the first 16 games of this season.

Brooks has taken it ALL with good humor, as exhibited by his starring role in the first of series of digital shorts from "The Association" files.
