Pablo Prigioni thinks his old teammate Mirza Teletovic will be just fine

USA TODAY Sports

Pablo Prigioni, the 35-year-old Knicks rookie, was Mirza Teletovic's point guard in Spain the last several years. The two led Caja Laboral to a lot of wins, including the ACB Spanish League championship in 2010. Now they're rookies together in New York. Surprisingly, Prigioni is having a better year ... so far.

In an interview with Sport Sport Bosnia, the leading sports publication in Teletovic's homeland, Prigioni says he has no doubt Teletovic will find his way in the NBA.

"Mirza is a great basketball player and this is just the beginning. soon as he gets more minutes on the court, he will show everyone what he's worth, "says Prigioni, who's been a member of the Argentine national team. Prigioni also told Sport Sport that the two families are spending a lot of time together. "Most of my free time I spend with my family and with Mirza's family. I am constantly in touch with him."
