Since opening night, the New York Times has chronicled stories of fans who wind up in Section 15, why they come, where they come from, how they got the tickets and who they are. This week, there are two more stories, bringing the total to 15: one of a Knicks fan who switched allegiances (yay!) and a father-and-son who wished the team has stayed in New Jersey (boo!) The stories are always fun and often compelling.
The Times also begins its look back at sports in 2012 with an article on how the opening of Barclays Center "gave the city a feeling of normalcy" after Hurricane Sandy caused so much devastation and killed so many people.
All in all, a good Christmas read.
