Last January, after reports surfaced that DeMarcus Cousins wanted out of Sacramento, Chris Mannix tweeted that the Nets had made a call to the Kings about his availability. That was three suspensions ago and Monday, Mannix reports the Nets won't be among those teams looking to acquire the mercurial Cousins.
'Two teams that were interested in DeMarcus Cousins in the past--Nets and Rockets--not interested now. Nets definitely out, HOU very unlikely," Mannix tweets. Beyond the Nets, he adds, there is an "Oft echoed sentiment: If Kings want give DMC away for junk, we'll take him. But right now no one is interested in giving up real assets."
