The Nets have assigned Tyshawn Taylor and Toko Shengelia to their D-League affiliate in Springfield. The two second round picks, both with guaranteed two-year deals, will join the Armor Friday night in Massachusetts where they will take on the Erie Bayhawks, the Knicks D-League affiliate.
The Nets expect Taylor, in particular, to excel, even dominate, in the D-League. The Armor has been starting Ben Uzoh, the former Net, at point guard. On Wednesday, they upgraded their roster with the addition of a combo guard, Ramone Moore, the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year,
