Ramone Moore, the 6'4" Temple guard who was Atlantic 10 player of the year last season, has joined the Nets farm team in Springfield. The Armor announced Moore's acquisition from the D-League player pool Wednesday. Undrafted, Moore played in Italy and Israel this season before returning to the United States.
Moore, 23, spent four years at Temple, leading them in the 2011-12 season averaging 17.3 points along with 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists. He shot 42.6 percent overall in his last year at Temple and 38.3 percent from deep. He also participated in 2012 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with the Chicago Bulls, but did not get a camp invite.
The Armor see Moore as a good D-League player ... once he gets in shape after returning from Europe.
