NetsDaily adds Tom Lorenzo to the site staff

NetsDaily is happy to announce that we have added Tom Lorenzo to the site staff.

Tom has been running the SB Nation blog Straight Outta Vancouver, covering the Memphis Grizzlies, for the past two years. His resume includes stints at AOL FanHouse, SportsGrid.com, as well as contributions to NBA.com, Fox Sports, and Yahoo! Sports. He was also a co-host on a weekly Sirius/XM sports talk show. Tom has been working in sports media and editorial for the past nine years.

His relationship to the Nets extends back to the days of Derrick Coleman, one of his all-time favorite athletes. He attended NBA Finals games in 2002 and 2003 -- both seasons as a Nets season ticket holder. Up until recently, he lived blocks away from Barclays Center, so he has a great understanding of the neighborhood and the local community, and its now relationship with the Nets.

Tom is here to complement Net Income's already outstanding coverage of the Nets and take NetsDaily to a new level with in-person coverage of practices and games. So please make him feel welcome and look forward to seeing his byline here every day.

NetsDaily's mission is the same as it's been since the site was launched in February of 2004. We aim to bring you the most thorough and up-to-date coverage of the Brooklyn Nets on the web, while also providing a mature and respectful environment for you to discuss your favorite team.

You can reach out to Tom on twitter, @TomLorenzo, or via email and he'd be glad to tell you more about his experience covering the NBA or talk about anything else that's on your mind.
