A rave review of Barclays Center from an opponent

We missed this the other day but thought it worthy of a post because it's quite extraordinary: an opposing player giving the Nets' new digs a rave review. Alan Anderson of the Raptors gave his hometown paper, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune a preview of what the Timberwolves should expect on visiting Barclays Center.

Like some of the Nets, Anderson was impressed by the arena's unique player (and bus) entrance. Instead of a ramp, the Dean Street entrance at the rear of Barclays Center features two elevators that can take players' cars, buses, even tractor trailers to the event level 25" below street level.

"At first, I didn't know where the bus was going. ... I thought we were going to hit the brick wall," said Anderson. "All of a sudden, the whole wall raised up and we went in. I've never seen anything like that before."

Anderson, who worked out with the Nets last season, called the entire experience "first class all the way. ...Even the visiting locker rooms are like home locker rooms. They did a great job with the place, and it's in a perfect location for the city."
