Lopez Back Either Friday or Saturday
Brook Lopez, who's missed seven straight games with a foot injury, will return either Friday vs. the Pistons or Saturday vs. the Bulls in Chicago. Lopez will be limited in terms of minutes no matter which game he plays this weekend.

Andray Blatche has been playing well as a starter, but there's no doubt the Nets miss Brook Lopez as a starter and Andray Blatche as his back-up. Expect word Saturday on his return. If he practices Saturday, he's likely for Sunday. If not...not good.

Brook Lopez will miss his fourth straight game Friday vs. the Warriors although Avery Johnson described his condition as improving. The Nets center went through a light individual workout. If he can practice Saturday, he MAY be available Sunday.

The Nets offered some clarity on Brook Lopez's right foot on Friday, clarifying that there's no issue with the fracture from last season. Lopez says he's already feeling better and he'll be checked out again on Monday.

Lopez out two games with foot sprain
The Nets announced Thursday afternoon that Brook Lopez will the team's back-to-back in Florida with a mild sprain of his right foot, the same foot that kept him out almost all of last season.
