Traveling Fans Go First Class
They traveled the extra mile to make it to Opening Night, Jonny Black from Northern Ireland, Matt Encarnacion from Australia. Through the storm, they flew. And for that, the Nets showed their generosity. This is not your typical New York team.

Nets Final Score: Nets beat Raptors, 107-100
It came a couple of days later than expected, but professional sports is back in Brooklyn. And the Brooklyn Nets are on the board, officially christening Barclays Center with a opening-night victory over the Raptors.

The Nets gave up 35 points in the first quarter, but outscored the Raptors 33-17 in the second to take control.

Transportation Plan UPDATED with Subway Service
There is an UPDATE to the Nets transportation plan for Saturday's opener vs. Toronto. The MTA has just announced limited service between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Free shuttle buses provided by the Nets and MTA buses are also running.

Nets Refocus on Raptors
Jonas Valunciunas instead of Tyson Chandler; Jose Calderon instead of Raymond Felton, DeMar DeRozan instead of Carmelo Anthony ... that's what the Nets will be "refocusing" on the next two days. They also have tales to tell about a woman named Sandy.
