After using him as a sixth man, and sometimes sparingly, Fenerbahce has inserted Bojan Bogdanovic in the starting lineup. Bogdanovic's scoring is needed because Fener is without its biggest off-season acquisition --and Europe's best player-- Bo McCaleb who's still out with an injury, as is their second most reliable scorer, Romain Sato. Fener won, 74-66, over Tofas in a Turkish League game with the Nets draft pick playing well.
Bogdanovic played 35 minutes, all but five in the 40-minute European game, and finished with 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting, including two-three pointers, as well as three steals, three rebounds and an assist. Ilkan Karaman, Fener's back-up big, finished with six points and four rebounds.
