Johnson Adjusting To New System, But Not Worried
Joe Johnson had another tough shooting day yesterday in Brooklyn, going 3-for-13. He's only shooting 36 percent so far this year (45 per cent from three) and averaging 13.6. He and his coach say not worry. It's about adjusting, not a dropoff.

Final: Nets win ugly vs. Magic, 82-74
It wasn't pretty (in fact it was downright ugly), but the Nets improved to 3-2 with their second straight win over the Magic on Sunday. What looked like a blowout early turned into a grinder late.

Brooks Defense No Longer a Luxury for Nets
Keith Bogans notes that MarShon Brooks defense was a luxury for the Nets last season. Even if he didn't play it, no one was taking him out of the game. The Nets needed his offense too much. Now, unless he buckles down, it's going to hurt his minutes.

Nets Will Try To Do It Again
The 39-point road win in Orlando Friday was biggest in Nets NBA history. The previous high was 34 at Philadelphia on January 15, 1986. So what can they do for an encore in the first afternoon game ever at Barclays Center? We shall see.
