The Nets will get their first feel of the Barclays Center court Sunday at noon as Avery Johnson takes the team to Brooklyn for practice. The Nets have been practicing at their training facility, the PNY Center, in East Rutherford, NJ, all week and Avery Johnson wants them to see and feel their new digs. Media Day last Monday was conducted on the practice court just off the main entrance. The Nets debut court in 10 days when play the Wizards in a preseason game.
They won't be the only basketball team on that herringbone floor Sunday. After the Nets conclude practice at around 2 p.m., the court will belong to the Harlem Globetrotters who play at 5 p.m.
