Jordan Williams is headed back to New Jersey, he announced via Twitter Saturday night after his last game with the Armor. It wasn't a memorable one. J-Will played only 21 minutes, went scoreless, grabbed two rebounds and finished with a plus/minus rating of -31. For Williams and the Nets, those numbers are meaningless. The numbers that count are the minutes he played in Springfield (192) and the lack of healthy bodies in Newark.
Four members of the Armor had -25 ratings or worse for Saturday's game, a 127-88 blowout at the hands of the Reno Bighorns in Springfield. The game was the scene of an historic moment in D-League history. Reno guard Blake Ahearn extended his record consecutive made free throw streak to 103 with four makes, including No. 100. L.D. Williams and JamesOn Curry led the Armor with 17 each. The Armor are now 13-13.
