Playing on the road, on the third straight night, and against the team with the best record in the league, the Nets put up a decent effort on Monday night. But that wasn't nearly enough against the Bulls, who scored 110 points in an easy victory.

Chicago took control early and led by 16 at the half. They led by as many as 21 in the third quarter and cruised to a 15-point win. The Bulls shot 57 percent from the field, with six players in double figures. Their starting backcourt of Derrick Rose and Richard Hamilton combined for 44 points and 18 assists.

The Nets were led by Jordan Farmar, who scored 22 points on 7-for-9 shooting off the bench. Deron Williams had 16 points and 10 assists, while Anthony Morrow added 15 points.

Morrow started for MarShon Brooks, who missed the game with tendinitis in his left leg. His status for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia is uncertain. He will undergo testing Tuesday. Brooks remained hopeful, tweeting, “As for me, I seriously doubt I miss the game Wednesday vs 76ers!!”
