Bogdanovic Better as Player, Asset

A lot of punditry has been expended on how a Nets package for Dwight Howard has been hampered by Brook Lopez's foot injury. But other assets have improved in value. First, the Nets first round pick looks a lot better, unfortunately, than it did before the season, and MarShon Brooks is playing as well as any rookie.

Beyond that are the draft rights to Bojan Bogdanovic, who's taken off lately in Turkey. Bogdanovic is 50-50 to join the NBA next season and appears over his inconsistency. The 6'8" swingman scored 14 points Friday in the Turkish League, shooting 3-of-4 from deep. Over the past month, Bogdanovic is shooting 16-for-30 (53%) on three's, and in the last three games, 10-for-15 (67%) averaging close to 20 ppg.
