Post: Nets Colors Likely To Change

Rich Calder in the Post reports that the Nets are likely to change their colors --currently red, silver, white and navy blue-- when the team moves to Brooklyn next year.  In addition, Calder reports that the team, Jay-Z and NBA apparel provider Adidas are working on a new uniform and logo that will feature the word, "Brooklyn."

The Nets have sought trademark protection for a logo that incorporates the team's current colors

“Brooklyn will be involved in whatever we do,” said Fred Mangione, chief marketing officer for the Nets and Barclays Center. “We will always tinker with things along the way.” The logo and uniform will be unveiled in February, Howard Beck of the Times reported Monday.
