Top Five Nets of All-Time...Easy?

As everyone tries to get beyond the summer doldrums and the lockout, ESPN New York is putting together a New York Sports Hall of Fame and as part of the process, each of their team bloggers is offering up their top five candidates for enshrinement.

Mike Mazzeo's picks are about what you'd expect: Julius Erving, Jason Kidd, Buck Williams, Rick Barry and Drazen Petrovic. Erving and Barry should get extra consideration since both are local: Dr. J is from Roosevelt, Long Island, and Barry was born in Elizabeth and raised in Roselle Park.  Mazzeo concedes Vince Carter might be more deserving than Petro and if everything goes well, Deron Williams might pass him by.
