MarShon Brooks' agent reports that his client will not be playing this week in the Nike Pro-City championships, as previously planned.
Brooks is in Chicago and won't be able to make the semifinals Tuesday at Baruch College, reports Seth Cohen. If his Dyckman/NYAC team makes Thursday's final, he won't be eligible.
As with most summer leagues across the country, rosters are fluid with players added and subtracted without much notice. Brooks' 48 points three weeks ago are the second highest single game total so far in this year's Pro-City tournament, behind 60 by John Lucas III and ahead of a 41-point effort in the same game by Kevin Durant.
Meanwhile, Brooks tweeted a video of him working on his ball-handling skills, apparently in Chicago on Monday....complete with a shoutout to #netsnation ...and a casual windmill dunk.
