Never let it be said that Brett Yormark let a marketing opportunity pass him by.
Friday morning, as speculation continued about an Islander move to Brooklyn, Yormark was touring Barclays Center and in his twitter feed, raved about how the arena's "sightlines are unreal" without saying whether those sightlines are going to be "unreal" for basketball (long a given) or hockey (a worry for Islander fans).
Yormark is just back from a visit to NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, where he "talked basketball and hockey" at Barclays, says his spokesman Barry Baum. The Nets CEO also confirmed Maryland will be one part of the college basketball opening bill at Barclays.
