Armor Open November 25

The Nets' D-League affiliate, the Springfield Armor, has no coach or players yet, but they do have a schedule.  The Armor announced Monday that their 3rd season will tip off November 25 against the Maine Red Claws at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.

The Armor play a 50-game schedule (unaffected by the lockout) featuring 24 home games at MassMutual. The Armor will also play 24 road games and two games at the NBA Development League Showcase in mid-January.  The team is expected to name a coach and assistant coach as well as a trainer soon, all of whom will be Nets employees.  Milton Lee, named basketball operations director for the Armor, will choose the coaches soon...with Avery Johnson and Billy King's blessing. Then, the D-League Draft the first week of November will fill out the roster.
