We missed this last week, then lost it in the floods. While Al Iannazzone and Fred Kerber (you remember them?) noted early in the off-season that the Nets have eyes for Nene, Tayshaun Prince, Tyson Chandler and Caron Butler, Ryan Corazza of ESPN thinks David West, Jamal Crawford and Jason Richardson are the keys.
In an article headlined, "How Knicks, Nets Can Rise Again", Corazza writes that Nets need both a big man and a shooter, although he notes the acquisition of MarShon Brooks will help in the latter department. And Yes, they'd like to acquire Dwight Howard. Corazza admits West's torn ACL could give teams pause. Still, he writes, the 31-year-old West "could be a nice get for the Nets here." Maybe we didn't miss that much after all.
