Sundiata Gaines is about to become the fifth Net to head overseas.  Sportando, the European hoops site, reports that Gaines is headed for B.C. Armia, the reigning champ in the former Soviet republic of Georgia.  Gaines, who signed a two year deal in mid-season, fractured his hip in March.

Gaines' contract ends next July and if he doesn't play somewhere this season, his opportunities are likely to be limited in 2012-13.  Gaines will join Deron Williams (Turkey), Sasha Vujacic (Turkey), Mario West (Italy) and Jordan Farmar (Israel) overseas. The Nets already lead the NBA in defections.
