Deron Williams is in Utah this weekend for his "Dodge Barrage" event with former Jazz teammate Kyle Korver. In an interview with the Salt Lake Tribune, Williams revealed that his surgically-repaired wrist is not yet 100 percent.
"I've still got to do some strengthening and breaking up scar tissue," Williams said. "I think that's a process with any surgery."
Williams added that he read Rick Reilly's warning about playing abroad, but has no worries about his stay in Istanbul. He also made note of a favor from former Nets assistant Larry Krystkowiak: The new University of Utah coach let Williams work out at the Utes' gym.
