Bojan Bogdanovic had a bad shooting night Tuesday in London, scoring only 7 points on 2-for-7 shooting, including 1-for-3 from downtown. But despite a mediocre performance from its go-to guy, Croatia beat archrival Serbia in the London Invitational, 83-71. The Nets second round pick is 2-for-11 from deep in his last three games.
Bogdanovic will play five games in six days as London tests its new Olympic basketball venue with an invitational tournament in advance of the FIBA Eurobasket championships. Croatia plays Great Britain and Luol Deng Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Greg Hrinya writes Billy King "took a low-risk flier on Bogdanovic that has a chance to be a home run."
