Reports out of Europe, confirmed by team officials, indicate that Bojan Bogdanovic, the 6'7" swingman who the Nets acquired in a complicated three way deal Thursday, will stay in Europe, with his Turkish team for the 2011-12 season. He will join the Brooklyn Nets the following season.
Bogdanovic, who can play both wings, recently signed a three year deal with Fenerbahce of Turkey, one of Europe's top organizations. With a buyout, he'd be available at the end of this season. Also, details of the trade were reported early Friday. After the Heat took Bogdanovic at #31, he was dealt to the Timberwolves in exchange for the #28 pick, Norris Cole. The Nets then purchased his rights from the Timberwolves, also sending the Nets 2013 second rounder to Minnesota in the process.
