Nolan Smith of Duke and Corey Stokes of Villanova (and Bayonne) are among the players whose agents have told them to watch what the Nets do on Thursday night. Both said Tuesday the Nets have expressed some level of interest in them.
Smith listed the Nets as among several teams his agent has told him could take him anywhere between #15 and #41 while Stokes said My agent got on the phone with the Nets [June 15]. They like me. So we have to see from there." Smith of course has been penciled in at #27 or #36 by draftniks while Stokes is likely to be late second round or go undrafted.
