On a night when the Nets took out an ad in the NBA Finals, Jason Kidd said he believes the team has finally begun to turn again towards success. Kidd's comments, like the commercial, focused on the team's move to Brooklyn. The ad was a regional buy.
"It will work itself out once they get to [Brooklyn]," Kidd said. "They've got an owner that looks like he wants to win, so at some point it will turn—once they get to Brooklyn."
Kidd said back in January that while things looked like they were getting better with Brooklyn, "Unless it's built, you can't believe it," said the point guard. Kidd's comments may have stung some fans, but Bruce Ratner and Brett Yormark agreed he had an argument...up to a point.
