D-Will Finishes Out of the Running in Voting for All-NBA Teams

Deron Williams had his best season statistically in 2010-11 and was coming off a second team All-NBA selection last season.  But he also played for two lottery teams, missed 17 games and was caught up in the controversy over Jerry Sloan's abrupt resignation. So not only didn't he make the team this season, he received only 19 votes.

Williams finished the season with averages of 20.1 ppg and 10.3 apg -- 21.4 and 9.7 with Utah, 15.0 and 12.8 with new Jersey.  Ahead of Williams in the voting were point guards Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, and Tony Parker.
