Knicks Complete Season Sweep With Blowout of Nets

With All-Stars Amar'e Stoudemire and Deron Williams sitting out with injuries, the Knicks finished off their first season sweep of the Nets in 12 years with a blowout win at the Prudential Center on Friday night. The Knicks took the lead for good with a 9-2 run late in the first quarter. They led by as many as 19 points in the second quarter and by as many as 28 late in the fourth, before settling for a 116-93 victory.

The Nets shot 48 percent from the field, but the Knicks shot 49 percent and outscored the Nets 45-18 at the 3-point line. Brook Lopez led all scorers with 27 points, but had just two rebounds in 32 minutes. Travis Outlaw added 16 points and Jordan Farmar finished with six points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
