Carrino Reveals Struggle With Muscular Dystrophy

Chris Carrino, the Nets' radio play-by-play voice for the last 10 years, has been living with Facio Scapulo Humeral Dystrophy (FSHD), a form of muscular dystrophy that affects about 25,000 Americans.

Carrino has been affected by the disease since college, but has now decided to go public in order to raise awareness and help find a cure. He has set up a website for The Chris Carrino Foundation for FSHD where people can learn about the disease and donate to the cause.
