A lot of Kris Humphries' desire to return to the Nets has to do with his coach and the opportunity Avery Johnson gave him after six years as an NBA journeyman.
In an interview with the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Humphries was clear: He owes a lot to Johnson. "Getting with coach Avery Johnson I learned a lot. He also gave me the opportunity to play consistent minutes, and your confidence gets higher as you play more. I would love to stay in Jersey — they gave me my opportunity and I kind of found my way into the league here. At the same time, it's a business."
Humphries also talked about his decision to leave Minnesota early, Kim Kardashian and how his ownership of four "Five Guys" has led to an educational opportunity.
