The Nets almost ended the season on a high note, but they couldn't hang on to a fourth-quarter lead in Chicago, falling to the Bulls 97-92.

It was looking like a blowout when the Bulls took a 13-point lead early in the second quarter. But the Nets hung around and they went on a 15-0 run in the third to go up by 10. The Bulls came back and the game went back and forth in the final 12 minutes. Rasual Butler put the Bulls up two with 46 seconds left, Brook Lopez got blocked on the other end, and a C.J. Watson free throw made it a three-point game with 22 seconds on the clock. After Jordan Farmar missed a three to tie, the Bulls sealed the game at the free throw line.

Farmar led the Nets with 21 points and 12 assists. Lopez finished with 17 points, but got his shot blocked six times. Johan Petro added 13 points and eight rebounds.
